Image Based Pages - How to Let them Load a Bit More Quickly

Hi,

Text-based pages load QUICK when turning pages.

Got some files in Chinese that are really just images, I'm guessing, as there's no recognition and lots of pictures in the book itself to start with.

Page turning is very slow with blank screens for nearly half a second between each change.

Are there any settings I can alter to help them paginate faster / reduce the loading lag. Adobe loads them all at nearly as-cilcked.
