pressure sensitive pen input - not really WYSIWYG anymore

Post by User4455 »

Dear Tracker-Team,
Thank you so much for the pressure sensitivity feature introduced in build 337. It greatly improves intelligibility of my handwriting.

However, with broader pencil formats (which I use a lot for highlighting) it is a bit annoying that during input (i.e. while the pen still touches the touch screen) the editor only indicates the line, on which the pen has moved, and NOT how the final result will look.
a.png
right: very thin line on the right during input (i.e. the "problem")
middle: result of input after lifting the pen
left: made with option "Gleichförmig" (which appears to force the old non-pressure-sensitive behaviour of prior 337)

In essence, I wondered if it is possible to achieve "what you see is what you get" (WYSIWIG) AND pressure sensitivity with the pencil tool?! Right now, it seems to be either-or.

Cheers and Thanks!

Hi, User4455

Currently, it is not possible to do this, we may offer it in the future, but I cannot make any promises just yet.

Kind regards,
