Missing toolbar SOLVED

Hi there,
I have somehow removed the document toolbar that displays at the bottom of the page. I prefer the Classic Toolbar UI, not the Ribbon UI. The document toolbar is there in the Ribbon UI but has vanished when I'm in Classic Toolbar UI mode.

I did something accidentally and now can't figure out how to get the document toolbar back.

Please help.

Please make sure that all of these ticks are marked:

Otherwise, just reset your toolbars from Customize ToolBars -> Reset All

The document toolbars were all ticked, but the Reset All command did the trick.

I wonder what key combination I accidentally hit that caused the Documents Toolbar to go away?

Hello Geoff,

Usually, F8 hides all the toolbars.

There is not a key combination for this particular toolbar.

You have probably slide it down.

Please help! I unchecked all toolbars in an attempt to get a full screen while file sharing. Now...I cannot get any toolbars back. I can't access anything at all except I can double-click in the center of the screen to open a file. But still no controls or toolbars or view options...nothing. And F8 turns my wifi on/off! How can I get my toolbars back. There is no toolbar to right-click on....there is nothing to right click on at all.

If you right click in the title bar, just between any of the tools which are inactive, you should be able to get the UI menu to open:

If that does not help, you can also try switching to the Ribbon UI, and pressing F8 there.

Since you mentioned it, the "function keys" on many new devices are overridden with alternate functions, such as turning the Wifi on and off. To use the normal function buttons (like F8) simply hold the "FN" button, which is usually located in the bottom left of the keyboard, near the Ctrl, Alt and Windows keys. Hold this down while pressing F8 and you should find that it works as if you pressed F8 on a normal keyboard.

Thank you for replying, Daniel. But, Fn/F8 does nothing (at least it doesn't turn the wifi off though like F8 alone does). There is no tool bar to click on or anything to right-click between. Trust me....I have clicked everywhere. I took a screenshot and pasted below. Are you able to see it?
