Embedding Fonts/Saving PDF/A

I have a use that requires all fonts to be embedded. Files are rejected if not all fonts are embedded.

I can use PDF Tools to convert a file to PDF/A, and that works. In Editor, is there a way to save an open pdf as PDF/A? I tried today, but the options box below the file name line was greyed out. I have corporate license, and am using 8.336.0.

Hello bqxmprij,

In the Editor start the "Save As..." process, and then in the window which will ask you to select a file name - first click on the "Save as Type" to show a drop down menu, and select PDF/A from it:

Then the "Options..." button will become active, and you can then click that to select which specific PDF/A version you want:

I don't know if the pdf I was using would not allow that or if it was just operator error. Probably the latter. Thanks.
