Cursor blink rate setting

Hello,
I want to change the cursor blink rate.
I have changed cursor blink rate in Windows settings but PDF-XChange Editor doesn't seem to read it.
Where is the setting in PDF-XChange Editor? Or, it doesn't have it?

Hello matsu,

I'm afraid that we do not have control over that behavior of the cursor.

We only have control over its size.

Hello Matsu,

Changing the Setting in Windows does affect the Editor, however this value is taken when the application starts, so for it to take effect after changing in windows, you will need to restart the Editor.

I tried with "Typewriter tool" and "Select Text".
And I found that only "Typewriter tool" reflects the Windows's setting only when the rate is other than "None".

To make it clearer, the problem is
In "Select Text" mode, the cursor blinks at a constant rate regardless of Windows's setting.
In "Typewriter tool", the cursor blinks when Windows's setting is set to "None".

I personally prefer never-blinking-cursor and I didn't notice that.

My question is partly solved, but I hope to stop cursor blinking.

Hello Matsu,

Glad that the problem is 'partly' solved. We will check with our dev team, but I can't promise if any changes will be done in this respect for all blinking cursors in the Editor, and if they do - when this might happen.

There is no mention to the ticket #5069 in the version history, but
I noticed this issue has solved since version 8.0.337.0!
