eM Client as a Send mail option

Post by Robert13 » Sun Dec 29, 2019 5:04 pm

Is it possible to use eM Client as a Send Mail Option, or add it to the list?

Hello Robert,

I see that eMClient offers an installed version of their mail client, if you have this installed, you can simply set it as the default mail applications in windows and the Editor should be able to see it:

Note that Restarting the applications may be required.

I do have it set as the default mail program, but it does not show in the list.

Windows 10
Version 8.0 Build 335.0

Hello Robert,

If that did not work, please try (in the Windows "Default apps" menu) going into "set defaults by app" then locate your mail client and ensuring that it is actually set as the default for everything that it can handle, Sometimes Windows leaves a few things "out of place" for no good reason. After that is changed, restart the PC for good measure, then open the Editor and the Default "Mail client" option (first item in the list) should show the icon for your mail client:

Let me know how that goes!

I set eM Client as default email using "set defaults by app" and now it does show in the drop down list.

Thanks
