Guide Placement For All Pages At Once

I am wondering if, instead of manually dragging a vertical guide from the left to the 24pt mark for each and every page, there is a way to mass place those guides for all pages at once. I am looking for either a macro or an operation similar to how the header feature works, but with guides.

Please let me know because I have to do this a lot as part of my job and it is very time consuming. I am just wondering if there is something I am missing that could save me time.

If you right click the ruler you can add a guide via a dialogue box that will allow you to specify a page range for your guide:

Open the image to see it animated. I hope that helps.
