RIGHT TO LEFT BUG

Hi,

I'm using 8.0, 334.0

There is a bug when I use Typewriter:
Type something in Hebrew
Right click --> Text Direction --> Right to Left
All the text jumps to the right edge of the screen.

Please fix it.

Unfortunately the typewriter tool only records one value of its placement position while editing, this is what allows it to resize dynamically while typing. As this method is dependant on the position of the content within, which cannot directly affect the container or its settings, there is not much that can currently be done here.
We are looking into ways to improve this, but for the meantime, you will need to use the "text box" commenting tool instead for this purpose. This tool is found on the Comment tab, just below the Typewriter button:

Is there a way to make "text box" right to left text direction by default?

The "text alignment" can be saved as part of the "default text style", but I do not believe that text direction is able to be saved in one of these variables. You can certainly try, using the instructions here, but if that does not work, you will need to manually enable this when entering text for the time being.
