strange behavior w/ fonts SOLVED

Today I got a PDF is 435mb, full text&images, looks like :





go to save optimized, first tried this option :



then I saved with :


This is the optimized PDF, opened to PDFEdit :


is a bug ?

In order to try to reproduce the issue at our end, we need information about what version is your PDF Editor?

You can see that under the Main menu -> Help -> About.

Hello Zakari,

Thanks - but it could be something other than fonts that makes your file so big.
Please go to File -> Save As Optimized and in the window that will open click on the "Audit Space Usage..." and you will see where the bulk of your file is.

It is either images, or it could be e.g. layers/named destinations from an original file that have not been removed when some of the pages of the original were deleted.

my question why is not unembed the fonts.

truly images is 84% of the filesize.
