to move selected text to another place in the same page

Hi, I can't move text to another place in the same page.
I have tried many time to select it but I can't move it!

The only thing I can do is, after selected text, use arrange=>transform... tools and then,
change x or y coordinates... it's a frighteningly slow operation!

Can you help me?

This kind of function would depend on the content type that the text is. Could I ask you to please send us a copy of the document so that I can provide appropriate instructions?

For any other users who may be experiencing issues moving content, please see below:

Moving text in this document would be done with the "Edit > text" tool:

Once this is selected, single click on the text section you wish to move, and you will see a border around it, as well as a small dot in the center:

If you hover the mouse over this small dot, you can then move the text as desired.
