Rotate Pages

Post by joseph.stone »

When I open a pdf file and rotate the pages, the save file option is disabled.
If i use the save as option and save, the new pdf file is not with the rotated pages.

i use the lastest version of pdf-xchange editor free 8.0.333.0

Hello joseph.stone,

Welcome to our forums!

Please note that there are buttons for "Rotate View" - which will change the wya you see a page, but will not actually rotate the pages in the document.
Think of this as if e.g. you have a book - and you turn the whole book 90° - it is now sideways, but the sheets in the book are still in the same position relative to one another.

The Rotate pages operation is comparable to e.g. you ripping a page from that same example book and then rotating and taping it back in another orientation - now it is physically oriented differently than the rest of the pages in your book.

To permanently rotate pages inside a PDF file you need this command:

Stefan
