change Redaction color

Hello Forum,

just a quick question -- is it already possible to change the Redaction color from black to another color? It seems as if there is already a command for this:

However, this command does not seem to be operative, at least not via the quick launch (command) search box.

Many thanks for any hints

Hi David,

It's already there in the Format tab when you have the redaction tool selected:

Thank you Stefan, found it!

However, I don't use the ribbon layout. This seems to cause two problems with the command "Redaction Color": First, the command doesn't work if you search for it via the Quick Launch (command) search box and then click on it (you can't get to the color chooser):

Second, the "Redaction Color" command also doesn't seem to be in the command list if you use the "Customize Toolbars" dialog:

Hence, in standard (Menus) layout, I can't seem to find that command, nor can I add it to my menus :?:

Hello David,

In Classic UI - it will appear in the dynamic properties toolbar:

Hi Stefan and @all,

I've just tried this again, and while the color of a selected redaction can be changed this way, I can't seem to change the standard color used for redaction -- not even if I apply my preferred color to one redaction occurrence and then choose "Style Tools" -> "Make Current Properties Default" from the context menu.

It seems as if this still only changes the currently selected redaction, but not any of the other redaction occurrences. (I've used Advanced Search to find the text occurrences to be redacted, and to mark these occurrences for redaction from the context menu of the search results pane.

Thanks for having a quick look into this!

Regards
David
