Hi!

It's great that there's now a panel for this. However this feature I find annoying compared to the pop-up version. There's this hour, today, month, this year, previous years, a whole bunch of them. And the groups only appear when something gets into them so I have to open them. And often I have a bunch of groups with few items in one screen because I didn't open many different pdf's in a weeks time.

I only see an option to disable the pinned group, which group in contrast I find really useful.

This is a new feature, and does not currently seem to allow you to remove this grouping!
I will pass your concern to our devs and see if they can make that into a Feature Request for a further improvement of the History pane!

Hello avada,

You can use the Alphabetical sorting to view all of the items in one group. We'll see whether we can update the view with the Show Groups checkbox of some sort.

Sort By >

• [x] Opened Time
  [ ] Modified Time
  [ ] Closed Time
  ---
  [x] Show Time-Groups
  ---
  [ ] Alphabetical

the new "Show Time-Groups" will work only with "XXX Time" sorting modes, for sure.

I see this in the changelog: "Added the ability to show/hide groups on the history panel."

But I can't actually find such an option.

We added it in 334 build here: - but, yes, seems its not a good and obvious place for such feature. Will move it one level up..

Thanks. Though, I really think that enabling this feature disables the pinned group (has its own setting which is deactivated by this) as well is a bad thing. I just wanted to get rid of the date groups and have a similar appearance to recent list of the "open" button. But its still impossible.
I think it would be best if the feature was "disable date groups" and keep the "disable pinned group" option functioning on its own. Especially since two options already exist. There wouldn't be more options, but people could choose which they want enabled, disabled.

Yes. I was thinking of this. It seems the most logical to me. So naturally I agree.

In one of the topics there was talk about the possibility of the bookmarks sidebar, the advanced search sidebar, etc being shown/usable in fullscreen mode.
Maybe the history panel can be added to this if it ever happens. (I don't think it was rejected)

Great. So I guess at least the idea of these panels being visible in fullscreen wasn't rejected. Or was it actually accepted?

Fortunately, the request has not been rejected, however it has not yet been accepted or assigned to a Development team member either. As such we cannot say for certain if or when it will be implemented at this time.
