Hello Nils,
The Simplest way to see the resolution of any image in a PDF is to select it with the "Edit image" tool, on the home tab, then look at the properties pane (Ctrl+`). You will see fields for the Height and width of the image listed there:

Kind regards,

Hi Daniel!

But what I really want is to see the dpi value. It is easy to calculate since I can see the size of the image under Arrange.
But if I want to knew the dpi for a lot of images - it will be a lot of calculating.
It would be a trivial for PdfX to do this calculation and put the the dpi-value on the Properties-Pane.
Just a thought .........

Thank you for your assistance / Nils-Olof

Hi Nils-Olof,

It's funny that you should mention this - I was looking for this information in a client's file just the other day. I like the idea and, at this time, personally think it's a reasonable request. There may be a reason this isn't done already, that I'm not aware and if that's the case I'll educate myself and pass it along to you, otherwise I'll put forward the request for consideration.

Cheers,

Hi Will!

I'm glad if I have contributed to improve PdfX Change although it's a minor improvment.

I must say I'm very happy with Pdf-X and I use it every day.

Best regards / Nils-Olof

Hello nils,

It should also be mentioned, While it is not yet present in the properties pane, you can see the DPI of an image by using the "Recompress image" UI. To do this, right click on any selected image while the Edit tool is in use, and choose recompress image. You can see numerous details in this window, including resolution, DPI and the like:

I hope this helps in the meantime!
