Is editor polling / requesting usb ports?

Is editor polling / requesting usb ports?

Hello,
after updating to PDF-XChange Editor 8.0.331.0 (licensed) sometimes an usb port is shown as 'still occupied by another device'. It's only a sneaking suspicion, but we are searching for reason for this new behaviour...

Is PDF-XChange Editor / the ocr features polling or requesting computer's usb ports, for example while searchung for a scan device?

Hello pdfcoder,

As far as I am aware - we should not be doing this unless e.g. you try to access a file from the history that was originally loaded from say a flash drive in one of the USB ports.
