Cropping white space from rasterized PDF

I made 2 PDF, from Bricscsad with PDF XChange Lite. Huge paper size, only a few simple vector lines in drawing.

a) Setting in Bricscad "Print transparency"
-> result: empty_transparency.pdf

b) Setting in Bricscad "Not Print transparency"
-> result: empty_notransparency.pdf

In the "notrans.." file I can crop the white space around with 2 clicks; in the other file nothing happens.

Bug or feature?

is it possible to crop quick and exactly (not manually)?

Hi Peter,

Thanks for the post - The issue here appears to be that the file labelled 'transparency' actually isn't transparent and contains two images:
image.png
The Editor determines that this file is not empty and therefore cannot crop to whitespaces.

In the 'no-transparency' file, there actually is transparency with a couple of path objects:
image.png
The Editor is able to determine that the page outside of those path objects is empty and therefore can properly crop as needed. The issue appears to be with the way that the file was created, possibly with the original software's 'Print Transparency' option, as the no transparency option is printing with transparency (File --> Preferences --> Page Display --> Show Transparency Grid).

Thanks,

Thanks Will

for advice and new features. I will investigate more (on Bricscad side).

Peter
