I have a strange phenomenon. although i run as an administrator, i can no longer save files in the following directories:
desktop folder (where the original file is located !) :
Access in denied
(both as a user and as an admin)
[user] Documents folder:
File not Found
(both as a user and as an admin)
C:\ : (only works when running as an admin, the normal user gets a permission issue)
I checked and both the user and admin have all the permissions (Full Control, all check-marks on the 'Allow' side) for the desktop and documents folders !
what is going on here ? does anybody have an idea where to start ?
thanks

Thanks for the post - Are you saving from within the installed Editor, or from the Editor's plugin for Internet Explorer? If the latter, this is usually because Protected Mode is enabled. When protected Mode is enabled, IE creates a virtual directory structure that mimics the actual structure, but is actually separate. There is no way around this, it's just a facet of how IE works, so you would either need to disable Protected Mode or find the file within IE's virtual directory.
