Adobe are threatening to SUE licensed users who have paid for their product if they dont stop using it - CRAZY...

Adobe threatening to SUE its own licensed users if they continue to use their legacy products !!!

You couldn't make this up - if you wont sign up to Adobe's subscription based use of its Photoshop product you may find yourself being sued by the firms lawyer's - even if you purchased a license and don' want to move to a subscription based model and are happy with the product you now use.

I wonder why ? Could it be that they make a lot more money from users paying a monthly fee for use of their products ???

I stopped using all Adobe products years ago, and this makes me feel even better about that decision. :)

I want to add, that all your products do not need an internet connection to work and can be installed, licensed and used in permanent offline mode.
This may be of no meaning in many cases, but for security reasons, some workstations are not connected to the internet, so that they can only access internal resources and it's impossible to accidentally download malware or having sensible information being transmitted to external servers.
The list of software, which can be used in such situations gets shorter every day.

This seems incorrect. Adobe warns users that "third parties" may sue them, because the license of third party technologies used in legacy products has run out. Dolby is one such third party believed to cause Adobe issues over licensing in legacy products.

This likely is a cop out on Adobe's part in that they try to get around licensing fees and legal responsibility for old versions, but it is not a thread by Adobe to sue their own customers. It's a "Hey, we told you better not to use it anymore, now don't blame us that some other company sues you."
