This issue started only with v7. it was never there before.
We generate schematic PDFs from a CAD package and the junctions where connections meet are being rendered as arrows depending on the zoom range.
See the attachment
Is there some setting I can tweak to fix this?
Also attached is a PDF file that exhibits the problem
Thanks and Regards

Re: Renedering of graphic feature
Hello tenx,
Thank you for the example and the File, I see that this file was not created by one of our products, could I ask you to try printing from your CAD software to our Standard or Lite printer and see if the output is any better?
Beyond that possible workaround, this looks to be a stroke adjust issue, which we have been working on over time for a few builds, The appearance of the document is better at normal zoom levels in the current release (version 8, built 330.0), but does need some further improvement. As you can see, the dots don't spread out quite as sporadically at 100%, and look correct by 400% zoom in this case. I have passed this document to the Dev team so that they can take a look at this document and use it to help further development of a resolution.
Kind regards,

Re: Renedering of graphic feature
So, a temporary work-around 'could be' to turn OFF the "Stroke Adjust" feature,
via File (or Edit) > Preferences... > Page Display > Rendering... (button),
and to confirm by clicking OK and OK.
Best regards.

Re: Renedering of graphic feature
Thanks Willy!
I'm sorry I forgot to mention that option as well, it should certainly help if using our printers does not improve the output.

Re: Renedering of graphic feature
Thanks Daniel and Willy !
Turning off Stroke Adjust works well.
We cannot use your printer driver because then we lose all the smart features that our CAD software generates - where we can click on parts and see attributes, or click on net names and jump to the next instance etc.

Re: Renedering of graphic feature
I see, Well I am glad that Willy's solution is able to help for the time being.
Hopefully we can fix this one up soon, but I cant make any promises, as it has been a long time ongoing issue.
