PDF XChange changes font to bold in fillable forms
I have fillable forms that were created in Acrobat DC. When I use PDF XChange to fill the forms, or change a form field content, the font turns to bold. Please see attached screen shot.

Hi triplegee,
Thanks for the post - Can you please send the form itself? I'm afraid that we can't really help without it.
Thanks,

After a reboot, the issue is no longer occurring.

It appears that PDF Editor just handles text size differently when the form field text size is set to auto, and the text is larger than it is when filled in with Acrobat. The form is attached in case there is a setting that can be changed.

Re: PDF XChange changes font to bold in fillable forms
Hello Triplegee,
Thank you for the report, Unfortunately it is not possible for all applications to display content that is automatic like this perfectly the same. Our Auto setting will choose the best font size to fill a text box, while staying within its bounds. It seems that some of the competition is more rigid about what is too close to the edge, so we will take a look and see if we can make some tweaks to be a bit closer, but I cannot make any guarantees at the moment.
There are also other factors that affect this, such as screen resolution, some others, such as adobe, so not always use the Screens native PPI like we do, causing further discrepancies. This can usually be changed in the application settings, such as in our Editor preferences (Ctrl+K) under Page display: Kind regards,

Thanks for the replies. I reduced the form field heights to get the font to the size I wanted, so all is good.
