How can I download advanced OCR plugin or is it included in v8 of PDF-Xchange Pro?

Hello Kumar,

Our new EOCR (Enhanced OCR) plugin is only available in V8 and is enabled by default in the Editor and Editor plus so that you can see the results right away. If your license does not cover the EOCR plugin, the Editor will automatically switch back to our old OCR engine to prevent demo labels from being placed unknowingly.

If you currently hold a valid V7 license, than you are entitled to use the OCR until that license expires, either due to end of maintenance, or a renewal to a V8 license key. If you do not hold a valid V7 license key, than a plugin extension must be purchased in conjunction with a new V8 license key.

The EOCR is included in All version of our editing software, Editor, Editor Plus, Tools, and PRO. If you hold a PRO license it will cover both Tools and the Editor, if you purchase them independently, you will need to purchase a separate plugin for each.
