Cropping a photo

Post by Thepetdentist@gmail » Thu Mar 28, 2019 3:44 pm

Two part question. 1. After placing a photo is there any way to just move one side of the photo(ex: distort it) 2. How do you crop a photo?
Thanks, Tammy

Hi Tammy,

Thanks for the post - This is really the domain of a dedicated image editor like e.g. Photoshop or GIMP. You can right click the image and use the following options to open the image in an external editor:
image.png
Saving the changes in the external image editor will then save those changes in the PDF document.

HTH!
If posting files to this forum, you must archive the files to a ZIP, RAR or 7z file or they will not be uploaded.
Thank you.

Best regards

Hi petdentist,hi Will,

1.distorting an image shouldn't be a problem.Just select from the menu Edit/image
and drag any side of the picture. As longe as the "shift"-key is not pressed during this action
the ratio of the picture will be changed.
2. if the quality of a picture is not important one could use the screenshot tool and select the area to be captured. After taking the screenshot insert what has been captured and delete the original picture.
OK - I admit: not as good as Will's suggestion but a possibility.
