Convert to PDF

Post by kumar »

When I use "Convert to PDF" option in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint or other office applications, is there an option to create the PDF and save automatically in the source folder of the open document instead of asking me for the folder?

Hello Kumar,

I am afraid that there is not an option for this currently, as our conversion plugin takes the file directly from within word to render and convert it, it is completely unaware of the original file location. We may consider this for a future feature, but I cannot make any guarantees at thie time.

Kind regards,

Thanks. This may seem like a minor issue but, it is actually very useful. these kinds of small improvement add up. every time I have to create a PDF within an office application, I have to then go to windows explorer and move it to the folder of the source file.

Thanks Kumar, we completely understand. As Daniel said, we'll certainly keep this in mind for the future :)
