Can PDF-XChange Editor perform global find/replace ?

Scenario: you have a PDF document where you want to change occurrences of a string (for example "ABC Company") with some other string (say, "XYZ Corporation"). Or maybe you want to delete every occurrence of a text string.

It's easily done for plain text documents, Word or LibreOffice documents, and the like, but I haven't found any equivalent find and replace operation in PDF-XChange Editor. Why not? At least it should be possible to do this for simple changes like the above example, but I understand that complex PDF changes might not be possible.

I had a quick look at VeryPDF's PDF Text Replacer. Could not such a capability be incorporated into PDF-XChange Editor?

We have never ruled out the inclusion of this feature, and are quite aware that it is in high demand. I have increased the priority further on the feature request for you, however the difficulties in implementing this are numerous. I apologize for how long this is taking to bring out. While we cannot guarantee any timelines on this, the request has indeed been accepted and action has begun from the Dev team to find ways of implementing this.
