pdf xchange is still after these years super slow + crash issue

Thank you for the report, we have made numerous improvements, and certainly do prerender a few pages in the most recently scrolled direction. it is likely that the document you have is simply highly complex and thus takes more time to load. Could I ask for a copy of both the document that you are finding the Editor is slow with, and a copy of the Document that causes a crash?

If possible I would like to find an example of another software that renders the slow document faster, so that we can compare and see what we are doing differently.

Regarding the crash, that is certainly something we need to reproduce and resolve quickly.

I can understand your desire for [the preload, prerender, precache full pdf] feature, but unfortunately while it's simple to explain - a proper implementation will require quite some man hours.
This is still in our ToDo list - but nothing specific as a date can be provided for now.

Thank you for asking there. I was certain about it, but your question made me second guess myself and confirm with the dev team. I apologize for the false information but it seems we still do not yet prerender the pages. The remainder of the statement was correct however, we have made numerous improvements in that field, and are still working on bringing this as a feature in the future.
