Hide gap lines between pages, to see pdf as web page?

Hi. I fixed issues with headers and footers, meaning i removed all added info, and reduced margins to 0 inches, using firefox page preview.
I also found "hide gaps between pages" to be very helpful to make pdf appear almost like web page, meaning without dividing it into pages.
But now there is gap line, which I would like to be completely removed! Can it be done? To see my downloaded wikipedia pages as real wikipedia, without even a line to divide pages? I need that because wikipedia already has enough lines, tables, titles, that that additional line just confuses me.

Hello asocialis,

I am afraid that at the moment there is no way to hide this line from the editing pane. This is because PDF has some strict understandings of the bounds of a page, and removing these lines indicating the bounds would lead to countless users having issues placing content. As an example, stamps can only be on one page at a time, so if you try to place one of our stamps right on the line, part of it disappears.

due to cases like this I believe it is unlikely that we will change this, however I will bring the idea to the development team for their input.

Kind regards,

Hope you do. I only need that visually, meaning for pdf viewing, not for editing or absolutely.
To read already existing documents or printed as pdf web pages.

Hello asocialis,

I've just finished speaking with our lead developer on the matter, and he shares my concerns about issues that would certainly arise from such a function. For the moment we see these issues as outweighing the benefits, thus we will not be bringing the feature to the Editor at this time.

With that said, we will keep record of this and may reconsider in the future. I am sorry this is not what you were wanting to hear, but it is the best I can offer.

Kind regards,

The inability to save web pages as single page PDFs forces me to save the pages as an image (I guess all browsers allow this now) and then convert it to PDF using OCR. Yes, I lose all vector objects, but I get exactly what I need - a single page that includes the entire web page, no matter how many screens it takes in height.

When I need a complete web page in vector quality as one long PDF page, I fire up the Opera browser. Opera can do it!

Good advice! Why can't other browsers do this?
