When I open a pdf, the file opens and the print screen within PDF-XChange immediately appears. I thought maybe my mouse was to blame but I doubt it. Is there a place to change this behavior?
I'm using Version 7.0 (Build 328.1)
Thanks - David

Re: PDF wants to print when pdf opened
Hello DWC121,
This is usually caused by the document itself, typically JavaScript which can be disabled from the Editor Preferences (Ctrl+K). Nonetheless, could you please send us a copy of the file to take a look at?
Thank you!

Re: PDF wants to print when pdf opened
Daniel,
See attached. I looked at other pdf files and the Javascript settings are identical. As far as I know, only THIS pdf opens the print dialog box when the pdf is opened.
Later at work today I'll open the pdf with my portable version of PDF-XChange to see if the same thing happens.

Hi David,
Thanks for that - This is, as Dan mentioned, caused by a document level JavaScript: You can delete the script vai Ctrl + d or disable JavaScripts via Dan's previous instructions.
Cheers,

Re: PDF wants to print when pdf opened
Will,
I found it by using Ctrl+D (Document Properties) and deleted it. I don't know how the Javascript got included in this document, but I have now turned it off in my PDF-XChange preferences with Ctrl+K.
Thanks - David

Re: PDF wants to print when pdf opened
No worries David!
Just a note: disabling the JavaScript actions can cause documents with form fields, dynamic stamps, etc. not to function. If you experience issues, be sure to turn this option back on and it should work fine.
