Spell checker issues

Post by SFBAguy »

I'm using 328.2 and having two problems with the spell checker:

1. When I click the "Ignore All" button, that word is added to the custom word list. I would only expect this to happen if I clicked the "Add" button.

2. The spell check wastes a lot of time stopping on hyphenated words. For example, if "original" is hyphenated, the spell checked will stop on "orig" on the first line and "inal" on the second. Can't the spell checker "un-hyphenate" the word and check its un-hyphenated spelling? Word's spell checker seems to ignore hyphenation as I'd like.

Thanks for a terrific piece of software.

Hello SFBAguy,

I have created an internal bug report ticket for these matters, as follows:
RT#4654: SpellCheck Ignore all and Hyphenation

If you ask any member of our support team about these we can give you an update on the current progress. Currently there is no timeline for a resolution, but thank you very much for reporting this to us!

Kind regards,
