I have several thousand PDF files I need to optimize. I have tested using Save as Optimized and I am getting the results I need but I need to be able to automate this process. I am very comfortable with scripting to get variables with file path and name. Is their a command line way using PDF XChange Editor, to open a file and save as optimized the file?

Hi kvanderhart,

Thanks for the post - If you would like this kind of control, you would need to use PDF-Tools as the Editor is not designed to be used in this way. Please see the following section of the PDF-Tools manual:
https://help.pdf-xchange.com/pdfxt ... ons_t.html

A license for PDF-Tools includes Tools, the Editor & the PDF-XChange Lite printer:

Thanks,
