Diable separate alphabet highlighting in a WORD... By default to select the whole word while highlighting

It is a nuisance to miss out certain words in the start of word, when we highlight...

Please ensure that the whole words are selected when we highlight... even though the cursor starts from the center of the word..

Thanks for the post - The whole word can be highlighted be double left clicking it, with the highlighter tool is active.

Automatically highlighting more than is actually selected, when manually left clicking and dragging, is not a desirable behaviour; it's actually one of the things that I find most frustrating about MS Word, because I'll often just be trying to select either a word or a portion of a word and the whole word and any adjacent punctuation is selected too. This results in a loss of precision and would frustrate too many users.
