PDF javascript not working in other readers

Hello,

I am working with PDF xchange editor. My PDF have a checkbox with an action added to it. When checked, javascript will execute with "addAnnot" command and freetext annotation will be added.

This command is working fine in xchange editor and xchange viewer. But when i try to open the same file in acrobat reader or blue beam revu. this is not executing. only problem is with adding annotation. if i try field or any other operation it works. but when i add annotation it is not working. can you please help me to understand why this is happening.
