Text rendering seems to be borked in latest versions
Hi!
It seems like rendering text in recent version (I tried 328/328.1) is pretty weird. In particular the "a"- and "g" look really bad, with the middle greatly thickened and their bottoms really thin, nearly erased.
Here's animated png comparing to 322.5 to illustrate the problem:
the line with "again and again" look particularly painful.

Hello avada,
Could you please disable the "Text Hinting" feature and see if this resolves the problem:
Regards.

Sort of. After that text looks very similar, with very little differences.Dimitar - Tracker Supp wrote: ↑Wed Jan 02, 2019 10:44 am Hello avada,

However even if I enable hinting in the old version text still look normal.

Hello Avada,
Thank you for confirming that. Could I ask for a copy of the PDF document so that we can take a look directly and compare the results on our end?

Okay. Though it seems like this font is handled rather poorly rather than some issue with the document itself. Here's the page:TrackerSupp-Daniel wrote: ↑Wed Jan 02, 2019 9:54 pm Hello Avada,

Hello Avada,
I have gone ahead and created a bug report on this topic:
RT#4603: Font issues in this document with V7
The dev team will be looking into it and working on a resolution.

Can you send us your screenshot with text hinting disabled?

Okay. It's almost identical to 322.5. The biggest difference is the horizontal line. I guess what I see in 322.5 is how hinting should work.Ivan - Tracker Software wrote: ↑Mon Jan 14, 2019 10:50 pm Can you send us your screenshot with text hinting disabled?
If I disable hinting in 322.5 too the horizontal line becomes the only difference.

Do you mean horizontal line on top of the page? This line has no relation to the text rendering.

Yes. Well, I wouldn't know. I just noticed that it's different.Ivan - Tracker Software wrote: ↑Tue Jan 15, 2019 6:31 pm Do you mean horizontal line on top of the page? This line has no relation to the text rendering.
