Need a better start page with recently opened files

I request for a better start page on opening the app...
with the most recently opened files.. just like in adobe

thanks for the post and excellent suggestion. I have forwarded this to the Editor Development Team Leader. I doubt that it will change vfor V7, but V8 is just around the corner, lets see what comes of this.

The screenshot you showed is not the start page..
you need two mouse clicks to reach there..

The current start page is just a black screen background, with nothing displayed...
Such a screen serves no purpose...

I suggest you check out the acrobat screen shot i sent you..

Ok, Now I understood you point. I open my files with double click, so for me this feature is useless

Thank you for the suggestion and extended discussion. Should we bring such a feature into the Editor, we will most likely ensure that users have a choice between the two. We cannot, however, make any promises for a timeline.
