How to search/edit hyperlinks (Web-Links)?

The following document (http://www.pitt.edu/~dtipper/2110/Netwo ... _Tools.pdf) contains hyperlinks which are not correct (see page 7) because some additional characters have been added, e.g. '):'.
I wanted to find the hyperlinks using the editor, but searching did not find anything, also advanced search. So I removed all Weblinks and auto-generated the links (Tools/Links Tools/Create Web-Links from URLs) which also produces links to 'http://something.com):'. Maybe some filter could improve the results here.

Hello Puffolino,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
I see that Edge is able to read the links correctly from the start, meanwhile adobe has much the same difficulties as we do. I am as of yet unsure why this is the case, but I have created a bug report for our Development team to begin addressing this. I cannot provide a timeline, or any guarantees for this fix, But I can promise we will do our utmost to try and improve this handling.

I should note that there are some cases where these links will be impossible to handle correctly, namely the link that begin at the bottom of the left column, and continues to the top of the right colum. The PDF spec simply does not allow for that kind of association between text fields, and thus if you will be using links in this manner, it is always advised to keep the full link within a single text box.

Kind regards,

Please consider making it easier to edit web links. In the current version of PDF-XChange Editor, after creating a web link

the context menu in neither Hand mode

nor Select Text mode

shows a link change item. In addition, users of Google and Microsoft products are used to the fact that the [Ctrl + K] combination is used both to add a link and to edit it in cases where the cursor is in a place that is already a link. I suggest using this logic in your application as well.

Hello Jensen Head,

You can easily edit links by clicking the Edit Links button.

The links are then automatically selected for editing:

Thanks, I didn't know about this possibility to highlight all links on the page with outline rectangles and edit them with a double click. It's a pity that there are no reactions on the forum to just leave a mark of reading and your thanks instead of writing a separate post, distracting other forum members and forcing you to leave the final smilepost.

Hello Jensen Head,

That's how forums have always worked I am afraid.
I think you can mark a topic as "SOLVED" - that will mark it without you having to post:

But it's always nice to hear back from you when the advice given has actually worked, and we do not mind adding the smiley face so that the last post in a topic is with a "red name" - and that way we know we can focus on other topics!

Kind regards,
Stefan

Only a topicstarter can do this.

Hello Jensen Head,

Ahh - apologies! I didn't notice that you are not the OP in this topic!
Well - in those cases a post from yourself is also fine.

And we will not run out of smiley faces to add :D

Kind regards,
Stefan
