In Version 7, build 327.1, I have Default Page Layout set to Continuous in Preferences. If I open a single page document, this setting is not respected, and pdf's are opened in Single Page mode. If I then scan additional pages into this one page document, it remains in Single Page mode. If the document is saved, it will then open in Continuous mode. I believe the Continuous setting was respected in Version 6 when opening one page pdf's.

I am not able to reproduce this with my test document, Is it possible that there are document settings for single page layout in place which the Editor is respecting? Alternatively, could there be any document JavaScript in place that forcibly changes the layout?

Please send a copy of your document so that we can investigate this odd behavior.

See screen shots below of the differences when creating a new blank pdf in both Version 7 and Version 6 with same settings regarding page layout. Version 7 does the same thing in Windows XP or 7. I reset settings in 7 and then imported my regular settings but nothing changed.
