Pencil Tool is Not Sensitive to Stylus

Dear everyone,

I am now using a wacom pen on a 2-in-1 tablet. The problem is that whenever I write on pdf documents with xchange editor, it takes a long stroke before the program can register my input.

May I know how I can solve this? Thank you.

What version of the Editor are you currently running? Could you please ensure that you have updated to the latest 327.1 and try again?
Following that, if you stylus offers drivers, please ensure that they are up to date. Finally, could you tell us the make and model of your 2-in-1 tablet?

As you are currently at an older build - we can't really fix any issues in it, so please do update to the current latest, and let us know if you still have the same problem so that we can look at this further.

Hello Lester,
Can I ask that you try applying the registry key contained in this zip file:
download/file.php?id=6579
It will disable some advanced touch features provided by the Editor and force it to instead use the windows default handling instead of our custom handling.

It does not work. And I have tried my stylus with Paint, Microsoft Edge etc. It works well with these.

I have just sent you an email with the below contents, please follow these instructions and email us back with the output from the debug view.
We have prepared a custom build for you.
To use it please do the following steps:

1. Download and run (no install necessary) DebugView from here:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysint ... /debugview
2. Download and unzip the file that I have just e-mailed you, then run the PDFXEdit.exe from inside that folder
3. Draw some squares with pencil tool (using digitizer)
4. Send us the output from DebugView

This 'Debug' PDF-XChange Editor version is provided for testing purposes only, and should not be distributed.
