Printing with errors

Hello,

we are currently using a 250-user-license of PDF Xchange Pro 2012 where we were experiencing problems with printing certain files. As this version is pretty old we recently purchased a new 250-user-license and were preparing to roll out the new version when one of our user informed us of the same problem.

When trying to print some PDF files (mainly ones created with AutoCAD, but some external documents like electronic bills from Deutsche Telekom) we have graphical errors/artifacts in the preview windows as well as in the printout itself.
For reference please see the artifacts at the word EQOS or the big black blob.

As soon as we select the checkbox "Print as image" the artifacts are gone:

The error appears as soon as a printer is selected that uses a postscript driver. As we are forced to use postscript drivers we cannot switch to other driver models. The artifacts will not be shown (and printed) if we select another printer (like the "PDF XChange Standard printer" or the "Microsoft Print To PDF" for instance). The errors appear both in Windows 7 Pro and Windows 10 Pro (regardless of servicepack-level or build number).

Using the "Print as image" has disadvantages in our environment: the print data grows enormously, the print rendering takes significantly longer and the printing itself takes way too long (especially when using FollowMe printing where the user stands in front of the printer and waits for the print out).

The 2 screenshots from above are made with v7 Bildnumber 327.0. The appeared with v7 Buildnumber 326.1 as well.
The do NOT appear with v6 Build 319 though!

We are in a somewhat urgent need for help with this matter. We do not want to roll out v6 as it is already 2 years old but need a working solution with the most recent build.
I can provide the document pictured in the screenshot though I cannot publish it here in this forums. If necessary I can provide it by e-mail.

Just for further references:

We came to the conclusion that the artifacts are shown only in the print preview window and not on the printout itself.
Stefan will pass the problem to their devs though it is not production-critical anymore.

We have sent all the information about these issues to our developers for further investigation.
