Hi, when signing documents my signing certificate is recognized correctly, however the custom entry for time stamping - server URL : http://TSA.swisssign.net *- is not taken into account, i.e. I get the notice that "signing time is clock of computer". Thanks for any help !

Hello mySite,

Does this TimeStamp provider require authentication? And if they do - are you entering your username and password correctly?

Regards,
Stefan

The problem is because this TSA returns too much data which exceed reserved size.
I will increase reserved size for TSA response (to 10KB) and also I have added an option to change this size in runtime when needed.

Dear Stefan / Ivan,
Thanks a lot for your efforts to help out and for letting me know how to proceed (I guess the run-time option would be in the next update). In the meantime I also opened a ticket at SwissSign and I will let you know about their response as soon as I get it.
Kind regards,

Glad to hear it, we will look forward to that response.
We cannot guarantee a timeline for inplementation, but it should appear in an upcoming build if not immediately in this next one.

Dear Daniel,
They confirmed that their time stamp server does not require log on, i.e. the returned data volume seems to be the most likely problem. PDF-X change Editor has the great advantage recognizing the signature certificate practically without any configuration, being able to time-stamp just us easily would be perfect, Many thanks in advance !

For the time being, I'm using Comodo's Time Stamping server:

It's working fine with PDF-XChange Editor

Thanks for the input BigMike!

mySite - can you please test build 327.1 and let us know if your time stamps are working correctly now with the fix?

Stefan
