Edit hidden OCR generated Text

Hello, Support,

I have often received scanned documents that have been selected/extracted using OCR. However, the results are often not so intoxicating (depending on the quality of the scanned document). Of course I can instruct the editor to perform the OCR again, which sometimes helps. But wouldn't it be possible to make the inserted hidden text layer temporarily visible and edit the OCR result manually after using the existing tools?

Ah, I hadn't thought of that possibility. I have one more question. Why is it not possible to edit the individual elements. I could only adjust the text if the option "Edit text as block" is not active, I could click and move the individual blocks but could not adjust their content.

It's very hard to say - The way that content editing works very largely depends on the content on the page and how it's structured. If you're having issues with that, please feel free to upload the document here (wrapped in a ZIP folder or RAR/7zip archive), or send it to support@pdf-xchange.com with a link back to this topic.
