Document Open - View Bookmarks

Hi,
is there a way, that we can create documents, which open with the bookmarkview?
We have set the Initial View to "Bookmark view and Page" but the Bookmarks don't show up.

Hi Peter,

Thanks for the post - This can be done via File --> Document Properties --> Initial View --> Navigation View.

Hi Will,

thank you for the fast answer but that was our first approach. Didn't work.

We want to generate our "press review" for internal use. It is generated with "initial view - Bookmark and Page". This works on the Computer, the document ist created.
When sent via Email / Websitedownload, it only opens the Page but not the Bookmarks.

Hi Peter,

Thanks for the post - This may be due to the local settings of the user's application, as PDF readers/editors can choose to ignore those settings based on user preference. Often users do not want a document to force a change of their normal layout.

Please send a sample document that has issues and I'll double check here.

Hello Peter,
Looking at the document It does not appear to have the Navigation set to open with the bookmark view. This will need to be set either on the document, or within the Editor itself, as Will mentioned before. If you are changing the document properties, do note that you will need to save the document after that change in order for the properties to remain in place.

Beyond that, in regards to the networking portion, I am unsure of how, but It should be possible.
Our network specialist is off today, however he should return next week and will be able to provide assistance in that regard.
