"connecting to site" message when opening pdf files on network drives!

Post by oshihari »

Hello,

I have been noticing lately at random times when I open some pdf files that are on a network computer in my home I get the message "connecting to site" which can last up to 1 minute or so before it loads the pdf file. Also when this happens I can not even minimize PDF-XChange Editor as I just get a beeping sound.

When this happens I also tested other pdf viewers Microsoft Edge and Foxit and neither of them have this issue and oepn the pdf just about instantly.

Again this is a very random issue and does not always happen with the same pdf file.

Any idea how how to fix this?

Thanks

Hi oshihari,

Thanks for the post - Can you please advise on the Version and Build you're using (Help --> About)?

Thanks,
