Adjust text frame size

Hello,
I have a question about formatting text fields. If the text frame is too small, the text content will not be displayed completely. With the pdf-Xchange Viewer, the text frame can be adapted to the text content with a double-click. In the pdf-Xchange Editor, fitting does not work with double-clicking, so I adjust the text frame with the frame handles. Maybe someone knows how to turn on this useful feature in pdf-Xchange Editor?

I am afraid currently there is not a way to turn this on, I do not know if it was ever actually intended to work like that, however I will put in a feature request for you as such.

I cannot guarantee this will be implemented, but I can promise it will be considered when we are looking at new features next.

Maybe it´s possible to automate the resizing process.

1st proposal: automatic refitting when editing is finished by pressing 'Esc'

2nd proposal (my favorite): Dynamic 'growing' of the box by typing characters - this avoids automatic line break when border ot the box is reached. Mostly i can´t predict which final width my textbox will need. Line break could be realized then by Shift + Enter, like in Excel.

I have created a feature request for this as well. Much like usual, I cannot guarantee its implementation, or a timeline, but I can certainly promise that this will be seriously considered the next time we are adding features.

Is it possible to have this set by default? I did not see a way to do it. I also tried adding the command to the toolbar on the Comments pane by dragging the icon from the Customize Toolbars list. I figured I could select and use the command on a number of boxes listed in the pane. Seems to only work sporadically though.

I assigned it a shortcut key, so I can select a number of boxes and adjust them all at the same time.

Thank you for adding this feature and for the Merge Pages feature. The Merge Pages feature especially is one I had wanted for a long time.
