Hi - can anyone advise how to stop the 'format' toolbar popping up every time a use a stamp? Every time it happens I have to click to go back to the 'home' tab. This has only started happening in the latest version (7). I can't find any info elsewhere.

It does not appear there is a method of preventing this currently, I will ask the dev team about their take on this and see about having an option incorporated for that.
Edit: After speaking with the dev team, this is now an official feature request and is in our ticketing system as such:
#4358: FR: Add toggle for "Jump to Format tab" functionality
