Error Message: [PXVLib] Scanning Process Failed

Hi, My Brother DS-620 scanner does not get along with the scan functions in the current version of PDF-XChange Editor. When I try to use it, I get the error message in the subject line. There is a 64 bit TWAIN driver installed. I reinstalled the Brother software with no effect.
The Brother interface does open PDF-XChange Editor when I double click on the scanned image, however, so I can work around it. It's not a show stopper. However, if there is a fix, I'd like to know.

Could you please tell me what version is your PDF-XCahgne Editor?
You can see that under the Main menu -> Help -> About.
Also, could you tell me is this problem present only in the PDF Editor?
