Possible 7.0.325.0 Bug in Portable Eval Editor

With 7.0.325.0 running as Editor (not Plus) from Portable ZIP download:
Program auto-exits after approx 5-7 minutes. No warnings or errors noted.
Deleted all existing program files and settings and folder and started with a fresh extraction.
Launched program without modification, except reduction of window size. Did not open any pdf.
Haven't checked to see if running in the background makes a difference.
Ended up deleting folder and files again and re-downloading 7.0.324.3 (Portable & non-Plus).
All seems well with the older version.
Since no one else has complained, I suspect it may have to do with my system not liking a recent change, so I wouldn't want too much time given if it is only my issue. I'll just wait and try again when the next version comes available.

Can you check for windows updates? SP1 is quite old and there have been numerous program compatibility updates that should fix the issue for you

System is fully updated to 3/2018 (I haven't applied the latest April update due to issues cited by MSFT), but I might try. It's hard to believe that this is going to be the stumbling point given that many are probably happily using 7.0.325. Seems that if I'm the problem, the issue is with some other condition in how my OS is configured. Thanks for your time...

Yes - we've not had many reports of issues with 325, so indeed the problem might be specific to your unique set up and configuration.

GOOD News!
Updating Windows did not change the status of the problem... that's not the good news.
But, the latest 7.0.325.1 seems to now be stable.
Whereas the 7.0.325.0 version would "timeout" after approx 5 minutes,
I've so far had the program open for a bit over 30 minutes, without a glitch.
Thank you to the team or whomever it was that caught the crash issue.
