Highlight a text

Hi, I am new to pdf exchange editor. I would like to simply highlight a portion of text. I've researched, try to follow the step but it doesnt seem to work. Thank you in advance for your help

Classic Toolbars UI:
Tools->Comment and MarkUp Tools -> Highlight Text Tool

Ribbon UI:
Home-> Highlight

Thank you OVG for your assistance. It may be possible that there is no text data on that document, such as when a document is scanned. In such cases you must OCR the pages. In the ribbon UI go to Convert> OCR pages:



Then, you can use the Highlight text tool here:
