PDF-XChange Editor Plus vs. WIN7 64bit

In some (fortunately not in all) cases on Clients (Desktops, Laptops) in our company IE11 freezes after 2 or 3 times using the pdfXchangePRO. Pdf-XChange is used as default application for pdf-files. The installation of pfdxchange is identically from one computer to the other.

Environment: WIN7 64bit
pdfXchangePRO: Version 6.0 (Build 318.1), Version 7.0 is in preparation

Do you know this behavior or fault? Do you have a solution? Thank you!

That is what I wrote to you there:

Could you please upgrade your Pdf-XChange Pro to our latest version, and see if your problem is resolved.

Before you install the latest version, please remove the currently installed one and restart your computer.


You can download our latest 7.0.324.3 version from this link:

Although I do not recommend it, if you still decide to continue using version 6, at least update it to 6.0.322.7
