Distance tool - annotation upside down

Hi, all in a sudden, the annotation of the distance tool is showing upside down. Any hint what I could do about?

PDF Xchange in use is: Editor Plus, Version 6.0 322.7 on Win7, Corporate version, managed device -> "please upgrade to the latest version 7.whatever" wouldn't help me

Had to limit the extend of the screenshot, not a public document. But all dimensions are upside down in the drawing.

Seems like you've flipped the line - it is possible from the context menu of a measurement annotation:

And if you have then e.g. applied this style as the default - new ones could be added the same way.

thanks for your hint, I did not find this option.

Anyway:
- yep, I defined a style (1:100) for the distance tool. It works with all other dwg conversions I created (out of Autodesk DWG TrueView 2018) dwg to pdf printer
- It simply does not work with the output of one particular dwg file. I suspect there is some setting in the dwg file causing the trouble. I don't have a dwg-editor at hands, so I can't check this. (I can't give away the file either, sorry)
- I tried to save a style with the line flipped, either I'm doing something wrong, or the flipped line isn't saved to the style, behavior as before

Conclusion for today: enough R&D done, I'll live with it for the moment

Thanks for the follow up.
If it is one particular file - then maybe the scale in the original document is incorrect!?
Or is it that when you try to make measurements in the PDF you created from that particular DWG - then and only then the measurements are flipped?

As you can't send us the file, and it only seems to happen with that one, investigating this further wil be tricky from our end!
But if you have the chance to test this further - do let us know how it goes!

Thanks for confirming this!
I can understand that the file can not be shared here in the public forums - but can it be shared e.g. via e-mail?
If you can send us a copy - we will test it here at our end, and then make sure to destroy the file. It will only be used for testing the issue at hand and any info from the file itself will not be used for anything other than figuring out why the issue is happening in the first place!

It is also possible that the document itself is flipped upside down. Have you tried recreating it and ensuring that it is only the measurement tool that is upside down?
For example, try a typewriter, if the document is flipped it will also appear upside down.

thanks for your comments, just did a quick check:

- sure I tried to recreate the document, was the first thing I tried, different sizes, cropped, extend, display -> no change
- typewriter is ok
- a number of other annotations I tried are ok
- even vertical distances behave as expected, only horizontal distance is upside down

What I could give you is a cropped drawing as PDF, if this would be of any value for you to have a look at. Please indicate an email address in this case. Thanks.

Thanks for the sample Klaus!

I've managed to reproduce the problem and created a ticket in our internal system for this:
#4272: Editor 324.3: Distance measurements in this file are flipped by default.
So that we can get it fixed as soon as possible.

As it seems to only happen with a particular file - please just "flip" the measurements as needed for that. I am offering this as a workaround until our devs figure out what is causing the original problem.
