Custom menu tab

Is there a way to create a custom menu tab, where you can grab certain tools from other menus, and create your own selection of tools?

OK, maybe I do need help. I created a custom ribbon tab. I assume I can put whatever tools I want there? How do I get tools to the custom ribbon tab? Nothing seems to drag and drop into it.

Thanks a lot HaPe. That explains it. I guess I missed that tools are added to toolbars, which are then added to ribbons.
