Feature Request: View next/previous document in folder

It would be very handy to press a single key to view the next document in a folder, and to press another key to view the previous document in a folder.

I wonder if you know that PDF-XChange Editor includes a component called "Shell Extensions" ?

If this is installed, then in Windows File Explorer you can get a preview of PDFs:
- in Windows 7, via the Organize button > Layout > Preview pane
- in Windows 10, via the View ribbon > Preview pane

If you like, you can:
- resize the preview pane,
- browse through the PDF,
- rename a PDF while it is open in preview,
- use the cursor keys on your keyboard, to select a previous or a next file in the list.

NOTE: there is still a request to rename a PDF from within PDF-XChange Editor itself.

I use the portable version, which I assume does not include the shell extensions (correct me if I'm mistaken). It sounds like I need to take a look at the non-portable version as well. Thanks!

I still do think it would be useful to have functions to view the next/previous file within PDF-XChange Editor. Especially on smaller screens, it can be nearly impossible to view PDF files within a pane.

Yes, I assume that the Shell Extensions are not included in the portable version.

Chances exist that the requested features will be there in PDF-XChange Editor sooner or later, but in the meantime you can use the work-around via Windows File Explorer. You can enlarge the preview pane a lot, and you can also zoom in to the pages, if that would be needed.

Indeed those previews will work for the installed version but will not for the portable.
